GRASS GIS and SQL support

External Database Management System (DBMS) support can be a very useful extension to the internal GRASS database if you need to manipulate data containing multiple attributes.

In the GRASS 6 development we work on full integration of GRASS with DBMS support (DBF, PostgreSQL, mySQL, sqlite, ODBC,...).

This mailing list shall help and coordinate ongoing development on

Which SQL database systems shall be linked to GRASS?
How can I contribute?
